     Polish culture, that delivered to us in the Chopin player Vladimir de Pachmann an artist of enchanting loveliness in non-legato playing and at the same time one who revived the art of the comical in the strangest manner, and thus a reminiscence of genuine virtuosity, showed its fertility once again in Leopold Godowsky.      Das Polentum, das in dem Chopinspieler Wladimir von Pachmann einen Künstler von zauberhaftem Reiz des Nonlegato-Spiels und zugleich einen Erneuerer seltsamsten Komödiantentums, also einen Nachklang echten Virtuosentums zu uns entsandte, zeigte sich nochmals fruchtbar in Leopold Godowsky.
