Exaggerated mannerisms of phrasing and dynamics sometimes mar the
playing of this gifted Polish artist when it comes to larger works. On the
other hand she often brings effects of exquisite delicacy to her readings of
the shorter pieces of Chopin, in particular the Mazurkas.
